Foundation Studies
The Foundation series is comprised of three day-long classes that explore the practice of breath, movement and voice, in contact with the three centers: body, heart and mind. We explore the basic tools and practices of embodied presence, grounding us in experiences of aliveness, authenticity and wellbeing. The Foundation series is a pre-requisite for the advanced training in the Cycle series.
Foundations: Breath is a day-long exploration of breath as a healing and transformative practice. Breath practices release tension, regulate the body, mind, and heart, and open us to the deepest levels of insight, presence, and wisdom. Conscious breath is the quickest way to decrease stress and to engage in a relaxation response. In your lifetime, you will take approximately 100 million breaths. In bringing our conscious awareness to this ongoing autonomic process, we integrate body, heart, and mind.
